A totem is a spirit being, sacred object, or symbol that serves as an emblem of a group of people, such as a family, clan, lineage, or tribe. But what if you live in a society where the law is aimed at liberating people from dependence on family, church and private charities? What is the actual impact of state individualism when it comes to community or rather said the lack of?
Sometimes when you stop thinking the best ideas arise, thank god for the holiday! with my head in the clouds and a notebook filled with new ideas, can’t wait to start creating them ❤️
inspiring window on my trip in georgia, something is catching my eye when it’s wrapped up, the fabric, the colour and the simplicity. other people might just see a window, i see inspiration for a new art piece
recently i’ve been experimenting with sewing fabrics and pouring gips into it. I love the simplicity of the piece but yet it has a crunchy side to it, I guess just like me 😊
for many people this is just a building being wrapped for construction work for me this is pure inspiration! With this in mind I’ve been creating some new pieces that still need to dry and being finalized but I’m looking forward to show you!
testing some new shapes and materials, I have to say I love to work with plaster! working with moulds leave a hint of surprise, you never completely know what comes out. Hello new sculpture! It’s so nice that it’s possible again to work outside and be able to create gips sculptures again. yes it’s a pretty messy activity but oh so fun. working with a mould always leaves a hint of surprise, you never completely know what comes out 😊
New sculpture called ‘hidden’ I’ve been carving out a block of clay into a human shape. As a starter ceramist I like this technic a lot. Hope to find some more time soon to experiment with this.
