This job isn’t just about doing hair. It’s being a hairstylist, content creator, social media manager, therapist, emotional support human, and professional bullshit smoother all at the same time 💀It’s 4:30am alarms, dragging heavy ass kits into venues before the sun is even up, surviving on enough caffeine to seriously concern a cardiologist, inhaling enough hairspray to damage the ozone layer, and somehow keeping everybody calm while carrying the pressure of making someone feel the most beautiful they ever have in their life.
The craziest part is how personal it feels. One thing goes wrong and you’ll sit there questioning your entire existence while still fluffing curls and hyping everybody else up. The overthinking, the perfectionism, the “why isn’t this styling exactly how I pictured it in my head” spiral while still smiling and pretending everything is seamless.
