@dogoodplusdowell Ashish Mehta and I have submitted a session proposal to take the stage at #SOCAP26 on "An Innovative Impact Fund that leverages the power of retail to unleash Impact’s unfulfilled Promise”.
This session proposes an innovative sector-agnostic Impact Fund that taps into the latent retail demand for impact investing by a) creating a portfolio of transformative impact enterprises (for-profit and non-profit) and supporting them with a “impact changemaking comes first” approach; and b) mainstreaming impact as a retail offering.
Remember @voicesoftheimpacteconomy
Check out all the SOCAP Open session proposals, including ours, and VOTE to shape the content for #SOCAP26. Voting ends April 26!

Yesterday evening Feb 15, 2026, along with Urbanist & Researcher, Gautam Kirtane I attended a powerful, well-imagined and purposeful exhibition titled The Everyday City by Ar. Alan Abraham and Designer Anca Florescu Abraham, in The Bombay Arts Society, Bandra, West.
It has got me thinking about so many things, especially the possibilities... Congratulations to you both on such a great exhibition, speakers and discussions...
I also had the opportunity to meet Mr. Bhushan Gagrani (Municipal Commissioner, MCGM) and Aditya Thackeray (Former Cabinet Minister, MLA from Shiv Sena -UBT) and gave him The Climate Actioneers' Primer Book, coauthored by Amruta Padgaonkar, Rahul Palekar and I.
I also met senior journalist Vidyadhar Date and Urban Planner Nikhil Killawala and several other architects, urban enthusiasts and journalists. It was a well curated and thought provoking gathering.
