He grew up Stockport ways and is an advocate for men’s mental health and also an ambassador for those with Crohn’s disease. This guy is Steel Serpent from Iron Fist he's literally a Marvel character and The Master in Doctor Who. It’s a mazza!

MEET THE TEAM: DANNY
Danny's been with Mandem Meetup for over 2 years, running our football sessions and holding the talk circle at Wolverhampton Hope Centre in Heath Town
His message? Simple:
"I'd like to see more people making that step out of their comfort zone. The people who come say their only regret was not coming sooner, me included"
Danny knows what it's like to hesitate. But he also knows what's waiting on the other side: connection, brotherhood, and a space where you can just be yourself

"I joined Mandem Meetup 3 years ago at my lowest point, lost, broken, struggling with addiction and mental illness."
That's how Shuby's story starts. But here's where it goes:
Through brotherhood, discipline, and daily practice, he rebuilt everything. Morning routines. Breathwork. Training. Shadow work. Nutrition. One step at a time, he came off all medication and created a life with purpose and control
Now he's here as a facilitator, giving back what this community gave him, acceptance, understanding, and freedom to be himself
He founded Battle Strength Academy on one principle: "I've walked through the dark, so others don't have to"

Transport: This is a circular walk. Driving/car sharing is recommended. Limited free parking available (approx. 25–30 cars) that fills quickly on weekends. Overflow parking is available in a nearby field for roughly £5 for the day.
