How to add your @munaandbroad make to the @mandbcommunity account! You can either “collaborate” with or tag the @mandbcommunity in an image to have your pictures show up. Collaborated posts show up on the main grid and tagged photos show up in the ‘tagged’ section of our profile. Mentioning us in the caption or tagging us in the comments won’t ‘share’ your post in a way that will make it show up, so here’s some step-by-step instructions. - if you’d like to share a previous post, hit the ‘…’ in the top right hand corner and select edit - select ‘tag people’ (you can select this when you’re posting a new post too!) -either tap the image and tag @mandbcommunity , or select ‘invite collaborators’ and invite @mandbcommunity That’s it! If you have a private account or you’d rather not share directly from your account, send your pictures in a message to @mandbcommunity with a little caption/blurb for your post and we’ll manually share them!

#MeMadeMay2026 day 8! It’s Friday, and I’m hoping to spend my day finishing my new Arthur pants and prepping my next projects. Of course, that means comfort is the most important thing about my outfit. My mantra when sewing is “Undercover PJs”, so it’s not like anything I make isn’t comfortable, but there’s always some outfits that bring more comfort than others. My favorite pattern company by far is @munaandbroad , and today’s outfit is all them. I’m wearing the Noice Jeans, a Galen T-shirt made into an oversized sweatshirt and even a pair of Euba Thongs. I made my socks using my circular sock machine from @DeanandBeanCSM , and the self striping yarn is dyed by @mudpunch . She’s well worth checking out for anyone who needs a new “supplier” after that other one showed who she is this week! Today’s outfit (#fatOOTD) : - Cotton blend, lace knit Sweatshirt. Pattern hacked from the #GalenTshirt by @munaandbroad , fabric from @wasted_fabrics - Denim @NoiceJeans by @munaandbroad , fabric from @rainbowfabrickilburn - Handmade socks made using my @deanandbeancsm #dbeancsm, yarn dyed by @mudpunch - Custom leather belt made by @hesteglede - Glasses from @Synsam.Alesund

Me Made May Day 1 Let’s see how many days I can get a photo of this month 😆 All @munaandbroad patterns today Nullarbor cami in silk Tarawi shirt in viscose linen blend Noice jeans in recycled denim Both shirts are pretty new. I even did a rolled hem on the cami (but you can’t see it in this shot) Cami mods: lowered the bust dart and added length 2” I think (could have added another inch possibly because when tucked it it kind of wants to escape) Tarawi mods: lowered the darts, added maybe 4-5” of length, shorted sleeves and used one of the Patreon collar bonuses

This post is for the @mandbcommunity to see the two cocoon versions of the #hexhamdress I made for a trip with my sweetheart @beccaober8 to Lyon and Annecy France in December They are both made with the same ponte. Green is crewneck and maroon is mock turtleneck. I want to try a funnel neck sometime or a dramatic fold over that splits at one shoulder. These are real travel workhorses - which I think is how @leila_sews referred to the dress in a chat. They proved to be winter workwear workhorses too. I am always surprised in pictures that it is shorter than it feels like I am wearing. Both are unmodified size F. My measurements are B:50 W:46 H:54 Also featured is the @noodlehead531 #traversebag - also a great travel piece. Our trip was also incredible- nothing like we have ever done before!

This year hasn’t been the best so far, with new things popping up health wise if not daily, then at least weekly. My spoons are so low, I’m prioritizing creating instead of sharing, which kind of sucks, because I love showing off my makes on my fat body! Since creating is my main way to keep me afloat mentally, it’s an absolute top priority! I chose myself a creative word of the year for 2026, and it couldn’t have been more appropriate. It is, maybe to no one’s surprise, “dopamine”. This weekend I finished a new project, that fits that word perfectly. It’s the Droma Skirt Arch Bonus from the @munanadbroad Patreon. I absolutely love how it turned out, and it fits perfectly with my hand knit linen/silk Very V-neck Raglan by Jessie Mae Design. Since the skirt is very see through, I’m also wearing secret white shorts, made using the Birchgrove Pants pattern, also by Muna And Broad. All the seams on the skirt are either bound (waistband) or have French Seams, and I did it all wearing sunglasses. I would absolutely not recommend that, but my new prescription lenses are not working out for me, and somehow the sunglasses makes me a tiny bit less motion sick, so I decided to try wearing then all day. I would not recommend this approach, let’s just say there was quite a lot of tiny holes made with my rotary cutter when cleaning up the french seams🫣. Today’s outfit (#fatOOTD) : - Hand knit #veryVneckRaglan by @jessssiemae , yarn is @maloe.yarns silk linene blend in the color Marigold. - Cotton Voile #DromaSkirt Arch Bonus from Patreon. Pattern by @Munaandbroad , fabric from @rainbowfabrickilburn - Yellow Bag from @NancyYema - Pink and Green #AdidasGazelleBold

Basic black... a wardrobe workhorse that’s impossible to photograph!  I really loved the two pairs of @MunaandBroad #EileenBarrelPants I made last year, so I decided to use the pattern again.  My third time sewing the pattern and I think I finally nailed the length- I lengthened the legs by 2 inches. Size D from this size inclusive sewing pattern. Lovely black cotton twill from @stashfabricvt . Fun times.

Another gorgeous #DromaSkirt from JustJaySews, this time in a crisp green cotton (Look them on Threadloop for more M&B makes)! Have you got some pics of a Droma that you’re wearing in chilly temps? We’d love to see them!

This year has so far been … weird. Many reasons why, and not for the IG. So I haven’t been sewing clothes at all and boy have I missed it! But I have a trip coming up and wanted to make a bit of a pretty-but-practical but warm but not-too-warm travel wardrobe. These are the first two makes. Ignore the tshirt for now. Or not. That isn’t the true focus of this post, because my dear friends, those pants are the greatest thing I have ever made IN MY LIFE (and I’m one of those people who can use that wank-arse title of “Award Winning Quilter” so that’s really saying something.) These pants were a passion project from the planning to the finishing. I LOVE Japanese textiles and have been very immersed in learning more about them since I left work 18 months ago. And I also love the idea of stitching sashiko onto my clothes. So I stitched koi on the back pockets of my pants, and top stitched the pockets and hem with the same red sashiko thread. The koi are honestly my favourite part of these pants. And they are yin and yanging my butt and this makes me so deliriously happy! The pattern is the Eileen Barrel Pants by @munaandbroad - this is the fourth time I’ve made them and this time I sized down but still did my usual shortening of the leg (tall person, short legs). I used one of the Patreon bonus back pocket versions. The fabric is a lovely black denim from @weftandwarpfabrics - it has 90% cotton and 10% recycled polyester but yet it feels like cotton. Nice heft but also a nice drape. It definitely make the pants leg more barrel-y which I love. As for the tshirt, it’s my usual fave tee pattern @cashmerette Concord tee. I tend to size up because I find it more comfortable to wear - that’s just a personal choice. I always love the scoop neckline option. The fabric is a random deep stash find and I’m hoping that I pre-washed it 😆 Anyway I love this pairing. Sashiko? Barrel pants? Red? Stripes? Sign me up. #eileenbarrelpants

Just like @AcornDaisySews , I have finished my latest #MPWM project, the #BirchgrovePants by @MunaandBroad . As usual, fitting trousers patterns by Muna and Broad feels very painless, and using the #TDCO method by @ithacamaven made the whole process even easier. Like Acorn Daisy, I was unsure about the shape, so I decided to use fabric from stash. Unfortunately, the only suitable fabric I had with no plans is firmly a top in my mind, and even though I can clearly see I have trousers in the fabric now, it’s still not right. I don’t know why, but I do feel like I’m wearing PJs, and that’s why I tried to make outfits with everything in my closet that might work. I like some of the options I have, while I’m not feeling others. I love the fit I ended up with, I honestly think they are the best fitting trousers I have ever made, so maybe I should pull out one of my (very) light weight denims and make a second pair?

Sunday’s outfit at @sunnmore.strikkefestival ! Today I’m wearing a combo of old and new! My 100% silk Crepe de Chine Tarawi shirt has become a staple in my wardrobe for sure, as it’s so easy to combine with other pieces. My Droma Skirt is new for the season, I made it in a(too) heavy linen, so I have the shortest elastic known to man to help it stay up. Layered over my silk shirt is the most fabulous pattern by @pickyfemme , the Dreamscape vest. Was it a bit too warm, yes. Did I look good? Also yes😆. Today’s outfit (#fatOOTD #ootd) : - #DreamscapeVest by @pickyfemme and @pompommag , yarn is Garland from @hobbii - Silk Crepe De Chine #TarawiShirt by @munanadbroad , fabric from @rainbowfabrickilburn - Linen/Cotton #DromaSkirt, pattern by @munanadbroad , fabric from @wastedfabric
