Introducing the band: Tobias Kochseder - accordion (@kochi3accordion )
Tobias has been playing accordion since he was 8 years old and has been part of a variety of ensembles and bands, playing different kinds of music, such as tango, jazz, and experimental music. He studied classical accordion in Graz, Austria. as well as bandoneon in Rotterdam, NL. His accordion provides our band with an endless supply of harmonies!
Introducing the band: Katia Moling
Katia plays the violin since she was 6 years old. She studied viola at the Conservatorio di Firenze and played with prestigious orchestras such as the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma and Riccardo Muti’s Orchestra Cherubini.
Her love for forró was born as she played violin in the vibrant bars of Rio de Janeiro, immersing herself in the rhythm and soul of this captivating music.
Introducing the band: Jan Moling
Jan discovered his passion for drumming at the age of 6. While he initially focused on the drum set, he gradually expanded his musical horizons into the world of percussion. Over the years, he has explored a wide range of percussion instruments from different cultures, contributing to various musical projects and bands. With the Brazilian zabumba, he lays down the rhythmic foundation that drives the band’s groove.
