Some evenings don’t end with sunsets, they dissolve into you. The sea turned gold for a while, the sky kept changing its mind, a lone house stood still on barren land, ships kept passing, waves kept returning and there I was, somewhere in between all the leaving and all the staying. And somewhere behind it all, gulmohor trees were blossoming like mad ❤️

Every hour, light becomes something else softer, harsher, quieter, more alive. These frames feel different, yet strangely connected, as if each carries the same essence in another form. Maybe that is what light does it remains the same, while never appearing twice in the same way. I don’t have a story for these images, only a feeling that it is the same, and still, always different. ✨❤️

Summer fascinates me for this reason, when everything outside feels harsh, dry, almost unbearable, this is also the season when flowers bloom in their fullest tenderness, revealing color, fragility and beauty. There’s something deeply moving in that contrast, as if nature keeps reminding us that difficult seasons do not stop blossoming; sometimes the very weather that tests you is what helps you bloom. The first picture is just for fun, but the rest is a little love letter to all the colors summer is showing me around. 🌸☀️

A quiet Konkan morning. Sunlight on the roofs, and soft smoke from the chulha warming the day. 🌞

Beat the heat with “जाम” They show up quietly before jackfruit chaos and the grand entry of King Mango. Simple, seasonal, sweet, juicy… and gone before you realise you ate too many 😄❤️

Some sit by windows, lost in their own worlds. Some trees stand still, reflecting into water, holding their own silence. Solitude feels different for both chaotic and layered within us, effortless and pure in nature but from a distance, it all looks the same… calm, complete, and quietly enough. ✨

Went to a dam for a sunset, found only haze and a little heartbreak. I didn’t see the sun go down, but I stayed watching birds gather on a tree, talking in their own little world. I was disappointed, ready to leave. But after night almost fell, the sky lit up turning the dam into liquid orange My heart felt full again. Sometimes magic happens, just not how you expect. ✨

This is what life looks like mid March. Niece making a beautiful gajra for me. A tiny niece turning one, listening to my stories in my language and replying in her own. Somehow we understand each other perfectly. Slow strolls through the village. Photographing old houses, the hands that shape soil into pots, a grandmother adoring her strong granddaughter. Little flowers blooming around the house, a handful of homegrown black pepper, and rice farms slowly turning golden as the warmth of summer begins to settle in. And obviously some very pretty cats.
