Really fun bathroom we did with @prime_aries on design and @chris.scott.studio on the assist ! We worked with the client from mere inspiration and developed the perfect bathroom from studs to completion. We love how it turned out. The sequenced walnut is really giving MCM in exactly the way the client wanted. Photos by @kitramseyoffline

Such a fun brewery project for @sacredviceberks and @betsustudio . The cozy x chic mash up is perfect with this fluted dj booth and back bar we built custom for their space, which features our reclaimed heart pine 🤌

It’s that time of year to start scheming on backyard relaxing and sunshine soaking and we cannot WAIT. These two classic silhouettes - the Adirondack and the chaise lounge - are the perfect pieces to ponder on for your space. Both are made from old growth red wood that Steve salvaged from beer tanks in the 80s. I especially love the cedar wheel on the chaise. Message us for more details or come by the yard and try them out for yourself! Styling: @braelynschenk and photos: @kitramseyoffline

Some beautiful photos (ty @brefurlong ! ) were sent our way of some custom black walnut countertops and t&g old growth yellow pine flooring we did for @jenkinsnicolas and @cielophilly and we had to share ! They did amazing job on this kitchen. I also personally love how the colors all meet so perfectly while also offering something unique and interesting. The design created a perfect palette for the richness and softness of walnut countertops, which also happen to make the brightness of the yellow pine pop. All materials milled, dried, processed in house. Old growth pine comes from reclaimed beams from demolished mills and factories in Philly.

UPDATE: POSTPONED UNTIL 3/1. We’re screening George Nakashima: Woodworker at Umbria Arts. Entry is free. Doors open at 3 PM. Programming begins at 3:30 PM, with introductory remarks by Park Frost. Directed by his nephew John Nakashima, the film offers a portrait of one of the most influential furniture designers of the 20th century. Through archival footage, recordings, and photographs, it traces Nakashima’s creative and spiritual journey from his early training as an architect at MIT to his transformative years in Japan studying traditional woodworking and the founding of his studio in New Hope, Pennsylvania. More than a documentary about furniture, it’s a personal look at a life shaped by dedication and hard work. It reminds us what it means to spend decades refining a craft and staying true to a vision. Join us for an afternoon viewing the life and legacy of a master woodworker. Flyer: @iiiiicolumns
