In honor of graduation season ✨ Throwing it back to the grad cap I painted 5 years ago and honestly… it feels emotional to look back on now.
Back then, I thought my life was headed in one direction. I studied medicine in undergrad, took a gap year, became a teacher, got my masters in special education, and spent years teaching while slowly pursuing art on the side. And somehow, all of those chapters led me here to being an artist, creator, and business owner full time.
Life really doesn’t always unfold the way you imagined it would at 21, and I think this cap reminds me of that in the sweetest way. The path changed so many times, but every version of me was trying her best to build a meaningful life. 💜
I genuinely love what I do now, and I’m grateful I allowed myself to grow into something I never could’ve perfectly planned from the beginning.
