“You’re David Dean”
“Yes mate”
“David Dean from Flintock”
“Absolutely”
“Nothing else?”
“Nothing but”
“Nothing else? Just David Dean?”
“Not ever, not once”
One last post about Jerusalem because I’ve fucking loved it so much. While I ought to shut up about it, I don’t think I can.
Today marks my last performances as David Dean of Flintock in the @harboroughtheatre production of “Jerusalem” by Jez Butterworth
Roles like this are once in a lifetime, and I’ve had the absolute honour of working with this incredible cast and crew for the past few months. Everyone involved has made this the best show of my life, and what a show to bring me back into the theatre. I knew from our first read through that we had something truly special on our hands.
The response from everyone has been overwhelming and fantastic. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to come and see it, this show is for you.
A massive thank you to our brilliant director @neil.lovegrove for trusting me and taking a chance on me for this role. I hope we’ve done you proud in bringing your vision to life.
Onwards to the final shows. And as Davey would say…
SHAG ON!!!!
DEATH TO MY HOMETOWN
Yesterday, we finished filming on one of my favourite projects so far with some of the most incredible people I’ve ever worked with.
I can’t thank the cast and crew enough for taking this little idea and turning it into this amazing narrative story that I can’t wait to share with you
Please continue to support the crowdfunder, the response has been amazing so far and we’re eternally grateful for all of you who have shared and donated.
