Two years of Man Apsol today. 🤍 Honestly, it still feels surreal. From quiet mornings to packed weekends, from familiar faces to strangers who became friends — thank you for letting us be part of your routines, conversations, celebrations, and little everyday moments. Every cup shared, every story told, every person who walked through our doors helped shape what Man Apsol is today. Thank you for growing with us these past two years. And we’re just getting started. Our month-long anniversary celebration has already begun — from our Thunderdome cuppings to the silver gelatin photography exhibit with our film friends, with more events, collaborations, and releases coming very soon. Here’s to more coffee, more gatherings, more memories, and more reasons to meet. See you at the café. 🫶

If you’re someone who loves trying unique cafés with creative interiors and doesn’t mind spending a little extra for the experience, this place might be worth visiting 👀✨ The café itself is SUPER instagrammable. I honestly loved the whole vibe of the place. The design feels like a mix of rustic, modern, and artistic elements all together. As someone who paints, I really appreciated the creative details, especially the painted food and drink artworks around the café hihi 🎨🥗 We ordered: Glazed Chicken Cola Apsol Sampler Porky Belachan Crunchy Dinakdakan - My Fave! ☺️ Chicken Parmigiana Serving time took around 20–30 minutes, but understandable since the food seemed freshly cooked naman. Honest Thoughts 🍴 Food 🥘 The dishes were flavorful and interesting, especially if you’re trying something different from the usual café meals. Serving sizes were decent too. Price 💰 This café is more on the pricey side, so I wouldn’t really call it budget-friendly. But you’re also paying for the ambiance and overall experience. Staff 💖 When we arrived, no one immediately assisted us or handed a menu, so we had to approach and ask ourselves. Not sure if they were just busy that time. (Wala masyadong customers) But during ordering, the staff were friendly and accommodating naman. WiFi 🛜 They do have WiFi, but medyo mabagal during our visit. Baka malakas sa visit nyo ☺️ Restroom👫 Clean and mabango ✨ always a plus for cafés honestly 😍 Final Thoughts ☁️ Overall, I really enjoyed the place mainly because of the atmosphere and creativity of the café. It feels like one of those spots you’d visit to chill, take photos, appreciate the interiors, and try something new without expecting. ☺️ #Cafereview #cafehopping #Latrinidadcafe #BaguioCafe #kjmdiaries

Community Voting Night at Manapsol! To kick off @man.apsol 2nd Year Anniversary (May 17), the Baguio Film Dorks, a community of analog photography enthusiasts in the City of Pines, gathered at Manapsol Brent Road to take part in the Community Voting for the upcoming silver gelatin print exhibit at the same cafe. What is Community Voting? The community was able to submit scans of their black and white negatives as a response to the open call for entries for film photos corresponding to the theme of "Community" (Fun fact, Man.apsol means "to meet" in Ibaloi). As part of our vision to have an exhibit where the community themselves chooses the photos which to exhibit (a direct response to "gatekeeping"), only community members who submitted photos to the open call were able to take part in the voting (we like to call this a part of their "suffrage"). Out of 38 entries, only the top 15 were chosen to proceed to the next step which was printing in a pop-up darkroom that will be stationed in Manapsol for 2 weeks before the exhibit opening. Entrants will be able to print their negatives in the pop-up darkroom with the guidance of our core group members. Their prints will then be framed and exhibited in Manapsol on June 6, 2026. The Top 15 Entrants Are: Gari Buenavista Faith Erasmo Ian Mangaoang Tito Sanqui Jr Russel Ariola She Escobar Brian Roldan Nikka Givero Andreo Bongco Jason Asiong Giovani Valdriz Michael Hall Jesse Pineda Kathlyn Clarianes Jerome Martinez *We will be contacting the Top 15 entrants soon to schedule your actual pop-up darkroom printing days* Photos by @canon_1an Thank you to @patrick.wonggg of Manapsol for his continued support of the Baguio Film Dorks. (This is our second pop up darkroom event with him). Thank you to Ronald of @filmfolk_ for the Ilford Pop Up Darkroom, we continue to use this for community activations. Thank you to the core group for their never ending support for the event.
