It is with a tug of my heart strings that I write this post. Nearly 40 years ago John and I bought this house and walked into a wreck of a place with 3 small children. It nearly broke us but we loved it and over time we made it a home we loved. And we had our 4th child two years later. We were happy as pigs in muck! And how our family grew to our delight. Sadly over 5 years ago the dreaded cancer took my Superhunk and suddenly the house became too big. So today I walked out that door for the last time💔 Another family with 4 young children moved in. I just hope they will be as happy as we were.

What a week! Going solo to Ibiza and meeting up with the most amazing bunch of humans @footlooseibiza has to be one of the best things I've ever done. I suffered from a lot of anxiety due to grief before I left but being there was better than any therapy. And it was a lot of fun! Lesley and Danielle were the most wonderful hosts and how they kept going looking after us all for the week is beyond me. From the villa and food to the hikes and activities we were treated like royalty. I met the most amazing ladies who were warm, caring and lots of fun. Definitely friends for life! And I will be back. 44 years ago today I woke up at 6am because I couldn't sleep with excitement. So I painted my nails - no nail salons in those days - and at 9am went off to have my makeup done. That was such a treat! Then at 2pm the car arrived to take me to the church and on the backseat was a red rose left by my soon to be husband. And at 3pm I married my Superhunk. And we lived happily ever after until death stole him from me a year and 9 months ago today💔 My heart will always be broken but I know I was so lucky to have such a marvellous human in my life for the 43 years we knew one another.
