The first piece of 2020! It's inspired by some stories I saw of people celebrating new year's with their friends and family, and thanking everyone for making the last year of the decade great. So I present to you just a few of the many, many phenomenal people that made 2019 an amazing year for me! Thank you so much to everyone supporting me on my artistic journey. It's definitely been a bit of a rough road but there's nowhere left to go but forward. Let's make 2020 legendary! ✊

Cats, coffee and crochet themed shoes for Ms. Davis, as well as a few steps of my process:
1- stuff the shoe with bags to create a stuff painting surface
2- tape off the rubber outsole and other places you don't want to get paint on
2 1/2- spray with a bit of sealant beforehand because vans are thirsty
3- the shoe is darker colored, so I used a white gel pen to make a sketch of the design
4- fill in the sketch with white paint as a painting base (may need multiple coats)
5- use other paints or paint pens to complete the design
6- outline all finished characters with black to clean up edges
7- spray/coat with sealer, let set for recommended time before handling
