I really could not stop smiling this whole experience, getting to dress up like my favs !!! Goodie bags !! Delicious drinks !! AND of course, getting to rock out to both those tunes. 🦷 MAYHEAD FOR LIFEEEE!
The Muppets have my whole heart, and being included in this preview genuinely meant to the world to me 💚 a milestone, a pinch me moment.. to say the least 🙏

Slowly unpacking my Muppets collection after my recent move, I am loving watching this come together 💚
the first day was stress filled as I dug through boxes not knowing where things were, floor covered in odds and ends.. but now I’m taking my time and enjoying every bit of resurrecting it 🙂↕️

It was such a neat experience getting to hear Steve talk about his memories on set, and watch him relive the time of filming. So many emotions.
Had a blast with my friends as always ++ pics from the final day of the convention! Happy we found time to have lunch all of us before parting ways 🫂

When The Muppets (originally) did Wizard of Oz
This is from “The Muppets Go to the Movies” which aired 45 years ago (as of next month) on ABC. The whole special was intended to pay tribute to some of the most classic films! Its on the internet archive if you’ve never seen it 🙂↕️
Fozzie Cowardly Lion seems to have always been the obvious move here.. which I LOVE so much.
It wasn’t until 2005 that The Muppets would release their full-length adaptation, which most of the fandom either defends or hates! Personally I can never get enough, I dig its weirdness. But nothin bests this original!
I can’t believe it’s already been a year since the Muppet Vision meetup., hosting that get-together on the anniversary of its opening date changed the trajectory of my life. Genuinely. 🌈
I’ve been told so many times that THIS meetup really was a turning point in the community as a whole, the way we all came together, the energy of the day.. it was unmatched. I met so many people that would become so important to me on that day, it propelled friendships I feel so beyond lucky to have. It was proof that the love for this, and the fun we could have when in each other’s company, was something electric.
Most of all, it was a unification of something that’s untouchable. The bond we all share along the rainbow connection.. I’ll never forget the euphoria of celebrating what this area, and this fandom.. meant to us all. 💚 It continues on, in Jim Henson’s honor.
I’m forever grateful for that day. And damn it.. I miss you, Muppets Courtyard. I’m excited for what’s to come at DHS, but nothing could beat the original.

Jim Henson was nothing short of a genius, the way he was always onto the next innovation.. always pushing the limits of what had been done before. What he was able to do for both television and puppetry was revolutionary,
I can’t imagine how much would be different had he never established The Muppets.
it’s safe to say Jim made the world so much better having been here 💚 he truly made every bit of his time on earth count,

Reflecting on the times I’ve been fortunate enough to share space with Kermit the Frog, IRL 💚
From seeing the traveling exhibit on its last stop in 2024, visiting MOMI & The Center for Puppetry Arts more than once, standing near one they brought out for the NY tour.. to witnessing the real deal on stage, and visiting with a man who brought Kermit to life for decades.. I feel unbelievably thankful.
I dreamed of this all for so long. And it’s never any less magical, never less exciting. I’ll be back at MOMI this weekend and I’m geeked to see this fella again so soon 🥹 BIG Kermit girlie 🐸

Steve dedicated over 25 years to bringing Kerm to life for us. His performance was what I recognize most, having grown up in the 90s. These moments will always be such a comfort to me, and I’m forever thankful to have all of the media from that era.
Today.. we celebrate 71 years of Kermit!
Oh, how thankful I am for Mr. Jim Henson. 🐸
For his creative mind, for his unwavering dedication, for bringing together such an innovative team, for his undeniable passion.. and for establishing something that would live on for now over 70 years.
We owe you so much, Jim 🌈 happy birthday, Kermit (what’s regarded as his official birthday, however.. today is the anniversary of Sam & Friends debuting! So he wasn’t exactly the frog we know and love yet. But still!)

I spent a handful of years in my childhood believing Muppets From Space was the only Muppet production out there, it’ll always be sentimental to me for that reason + idc what anyone says.. it holds up! I love that movie.
Was geeked to wear this bound last summer for Dragon Con, feelin all the alien tendencies 🤣 R U THERE 🥣
