What started as a father son project when I was 11 with rectangle tube art morrsison chasis and a steel body donor car with a gen 4 454 truck power plant that never got finished has finally come to life 👀🔥🇺🇸. Took over the chasis in 2014 from my dad after selling my old blue zr1. Scrapped the steel body, went to all oem spec 69 carbon body and panels including dash mostly all from Greg Shampine). Rhs 488 tall deck ls with a healthy direct port set up from late model engines (my go to motor builder for all of my projects mopar or gm) and nitrous outlet. Rpms transmission th400 (non lock up for now) and Caliber Customs fab from the chasis up (Steven Spurrier and Matthew Lambrecht killed it on this as they always do. John Reed as always for everything on the tuning and wiring side for this unit. Giant radiator, giant trans cooler, oem dash, cup holders, headlights and tail lights, 33 gallon fuel cell. This things going to see some miles on it. Hyped is not strong enough to describe hearing it fire up finally. Stoked to have this one across the finish line. @maloneracing 69 Camaro was at my shop longer than I would care to admit. I get pulled a lot of directions every day, often unpredictably, and doing big looms well requires a lot of undivided attention. I finally had to admit some help would be nice (not a strength haha). Over the past couple of years I have been leaning ever harder on my friends @racegrade for wiring production work - mostly PNP looms and the accessories that go with them but this year we have been doing more full cars together. It just clicks working with Jason on the design, and the team builds it all exactly how I would (or better). So here is the biggest loom yet from this collaboration and I couldn’t be more pleased with the end result. On the electronics side, the Camaro runs a MoTeC M130 ECU with JRR Universal Motorsport firmware, four MoTeC LTC-D with lambda on each cylinder, MoTeC E888 expander, two MoTeC PDM15, a MoTeC C127 color display and a 15 button CAN keypad. It features a LS V8 with two stages of nitrous, TH400 trans, @injectordynamics BCP100 fuel pump and injectors and enough lights and fans to be street driven. Oh and it has cup holders of course. Once @calibercustoms gets it all installed, it will be time for programming and the start up we have all waited a long time for.
