‘Megan Alloh’s work revolves around exploring British culture through the eyes of a first-generation Ghanaian immigrant. By examining the dynamic culture that exists within her identity, Megan delves into the unease and otherness that resides within it.
Each project serves as a response to various questions which she has had since her childhood; at times focusing on her upbringing, and other times addressing her identity.
Storytelling is a key part of her creative practice, regularly addressing sensitive topics, whilst presenting her work in a way which makes it digestible for a wider audience. Issues not only within the fashion industry, but those present in society we live in.’
