I’m always amazed by the range of work my friend and ceramicist @malindareich makes and how each new piece feels both familiar and totally new.
Her work lives in a mostly neutral world, but then she introduces pops of ruby, deep rich blues and charcoal pieces that make everything feel balanced. You can find her sculptures, vases, bowls, and everyday pieces in cookbooks, galleries, and people’s homes, but they’re also always on the table when you’re lucky enough to have dinner at her place. Her work is made to be used, shared, and lived with.

Xl painted bowl, blue black over milky shino with sandy clay body peeking through. I wish I had enough lemons to fill this bowl up for the photos but my trees are not being very cooperative.
