Într-o eră a suprasaturării de task-uri, imagini, amintiri, contacte și prieteni virtuali, când telefoanele fac singure fotografii și puțini își mai bat capul cu deprinderea și stăpânirea unei tehnici, ne întrebăm cum și ce se mai poate păstra, ce rămâne din tot acest flux de culori, forme, lumini, sunete care trec cu repeziciune pe lângă noi.

Long time no post 👋 This period has been a lot, projects, new people, experiences of every kind, but we are thankful for every last one as we grew as a collective, individuals and our crafts have had a level up 🫶🌸. Today we want to present a part of our post-production services, which is color changing. It can come extremely in handy when dealing with multiple products, it can lessen the time and costs and will make a seamless presentation on every website and catalogue 👁️👁️. The clothes have been through an editing phase where every detail has been adjusted to the client's needs. Although we believe in making the best job possible pre-production, the final adjustments are crucial to every business' aesthetic 🖤. And nooo, these were not made with AI 😁. But more on that topic on another post 🌞✨.
🤸🏻♂️ We know we always have to be in motion, being everywhere at the same time and we also know a dynamic lifestyle is what most of us crave, so we can feel alive. 🏃 This is why we choose to honor the ways of movement, by presenting part of our motion design portfolio. We believe in healthy and engaging activity but we also advise moderation and breaks as needed 🤭💭.

Во 2000 година, во најсиромашната и најзапоставена населба на Јаш, Романија, беше подигнат ѕид за да ги држи Ромите настрана. Оттогаш, не е направена никаква промена во условите за живот на исклучената, често нерегистрирана популација која продолжува да живее на крајот од шумата. Името во урбаните приказни е изведено, иронично од американската хит ТВ-серија „Далас“. Оваа фотографија е дел од проектот „Далас“, изложен на самостојната изложба „Биди надвор | Гледајќи внатре“. Овој проект сопствените наративи ги инкорпорира во компаративен контекст на развиените урбани средини наспроти маргиналната населба. Неговата цел е во прв план да ја доведе општата свест за постоењето на една изолирана заедница, нерегистрирана и маргинализирана од официјалните претставници. Претставена е на пост-документарен начин со кој се соопштува лична визија формирана врз основа на маалото и младешка фабрикација на можни локални митологии. Дијаметрално спротивно од интересите на капиталистичките инвеститори, ова маало не претставува „можности“, така што урбанизацијата и одржувањето на скриеното ненаселено земјиште не само што не се пожелни, туку земјиштето е оградено и со ѕид којшто „уталитарно“ ги дели општествените слоеви. Галериската реконструкција на двете населби од крајностите на спектарот на урбан развој е лична цел на уметницата: популацијата во ризик од напуштање на училиштето, која во критична финансиска ситуација живее во лоши санитарни услови, како антитеза на просторот десетина метри подалеку што го има вниманието на официјалните претставници и е центар на комерцијален интерес, означува диференцијација што може да се екстраполира и на национално и на глобално ниво.
Малина Монча (Романија, Јаш, 1995) магистрирала и е докторант на Националниот универзитет за уметност во Јаш, Романија.

Excerpt from a text written from this series: The story continues by tracing humans and their means of living. The home that we create is the one that holds the most narratives for our existence. Therefore, needless to say, part of our identities is contained in the everyday objects we use, the stories we tell about ourselves and the land we inhabit, thus, giving meaning to territory and material custody. From what we eat, to where we hang our clothes to dry, it is always a matter of choice, therefore a tableau of responsibility and ideation is created about ourselves.
📖This is a book I've worked on using documents from all participants, generated in "What art can do about it" workshops at WASP Bucharest. The result is a curatorial approach towards the archive through composition, personal poetic annotations and selection. It's going to be shown starting today 14:00 o'clock together with our activations in the space, an open invitation to working together in a performative and introspective manner. 👀🪷
