@il.volta just finished and what better way to start this year’s edit spree with a photo from the very last set, which we did at 9pm on day 3. This set feels somehow extra special because of a couple of different reasons. First of all,
@bork.axel and I met exactly a year ago at
@il.volta - and we completely fell in love with each other’s energy. To meet someone who so effortlessly makes you feel energised and love is rare and we just clicked from the very beginning. So it only makes sense to post one of our sets first.
I haven’t actually managed to play the game yet but I did watch my bestie
@duvetduchess play it when I was in Scotland - and the memory of that makes me very happy! The game is somehow linked to an important life decision I made at the start of the year and I’ve promised myself that I’ll get to buy and play it once it’s finalised (but then I got sidetracked, by Disco, as you all probably know by now).
This photoshoot was tricky! It was incredibly dark and there was a very ugly, very bright and yellow street lamp (facing Hinako here), which meant that I needed to adjust the temperature and colours. But we got there in the end and I’m so happy
@bork.axel suggested this location because I’d never been here before and it really fit the Japanese Silent Hill vibe.
@bork.axel also brought a ton of props and was genuinely perfect as Hinako! So much so, that we’ve decided to give this character another go in 2 weeks time!
