ISLAND GIRL. this feels like who i might’ve been if i hadn’t straightened my hair, dyed it blonde, hardened the edges. ive loved every version of me (mostly lol) but this one is special. music has always landed differently for me. Could never explain it, something instinctive, maybe spiritual. And for sure it’s tied to land and lineage even if the connection’s been diluted over time. this is me following that thread.
