During our countdown block week, I built an interactive countdown made up of distinct particle systems — each with its own unique interaction. To get to the next number, you had to find your own way to reveal or erase the one before it.

This project is a digital clock with a visual system that displays time in four ways: Abstract / Suggest / Show / and Catharsis (at 12am).I wanted the main visual to consist of rectangles that move within set intervals to indicate the passage of time.
The final visuals are designed to be displayed on a flip-dot screen.

🖼️ Past Motion 🧊
In this project, I had to take an existing art piece and turn it into a short 3D animation. So I chose the painting The Burning Giraffe by Salvador Dalí, because I saw some potential to experiment with a bunch of techniques that I didn’t often use in my other 3D projects (such as sculpting the characters, bone animations, looped cloth simulations, etc.).

👾 Phantom Notifications 👾
This project was made during the fall workshop in my 1st year @ecal_mid .
I tracked my phone usage for 24 hours and found that I go to social media mainly because of notifications. Sometimes I turn them off, but my friends and family still contact me, which makes me even more active on social media.
The project is about disabling all notifications on the phone while still wanting to keep the ones from our close contacts. I was inspired by the game Space Invaders for the notification sprites. The red aliens represent the notifications we don’t want, and the green aliens represent the ones we want to keep. The goal is to delete the bad ones and keep the good ones.

This edition project is a collection of collages created from photographs I took in Cabo Verde in 2023. Through an experimental and tactile manipulation of these images, I aim to express my personal relationship with the country. Cabo Verde is often celebrated for its stunning landscapes, yet its history of colonialism and its ongoing socioeconomic challenges are less widely acknowledged. This work explores the tension between the idyllic and the unspoken, revealing layers beyond the postcard image.

🧹 Vacuum Cleaner Webtoy 🧹
For the second semester in the option course (Media and Interaction Design), we were tasked with choosing an everyday object and transforming it into an interactive web toy. I chose a vacuum cleaner because it was the first object I noticed in my room when I got home.
