Don’t answer this. Just feel it. A voice that stayed dry. Not a cry. Not a song. #MalaLexit #reelpoetry #spokenfragment

I didn’t force to release this album. But it kept growing. So I stayed here, in the quiet, and kept recording. 🎧 Produced alone, in a quiet studio in Rome. Full album coming soon. #ArtRock #MalaLexit #NewMusic #StudioReel #AtmosphericSound #ProducedInRome #IndieArtist

'Quit and Survive' by MalaLexit - official music video on YouTube. It may seem trivial, but producing music is very expensive. It's not just a question of costs, which are also there, of course. But it is also a considerable emotional effort. The creative phase takes you inside the "story" and you almost always come out overwhelmed. After a creative period, another follows where the mind tries to recover its energy before starting again. Added to this is the production part, therefore the session in the recording studio, where the instruments are recorded, the arrangement is conceived and where everything must be in the right place. Hours, days are spent choosing the right instrument for the song, and therefore for the entire recording chain: microphones, recording technique, preamps, compressors, equalizers. Everything chosen with care. Then there is the editing phase, where I evaluate what has been recorded and fix any mistakes, I think further about the structure of the song and often question things that were initially taken for granted. Finished? No. Once this is done, there is the day dedicated to the mix. This is where the song starts to sound professional: you find space for every track in the project, you make everything sound the way it should. And then yet another step: mastering. Here I will work on the previous mix to adapt the song to the media for which it is intended (CD, vinyl, streaming, video, etc.). Among these is Spotify. Being one of the major streaming platforms, it is important for every artist. Now that you know a little more (there's a lot more) what lies behind the production of a song, you can imagine how important it's to have as much support as possible. Follow my artist profile MalaLexit on Spotify by clicking on "Follow". It's a great help that you can give me with minimal effort. And for this I thank you.

This is a shot that I really like. I think it manages to represent my thoughts as an artist and as a person. Where a face is always marked by expressions conditioned by our experience. . . . . #malalexit #music #portrait #positivevibes #instaartist #italianboy #hair #musician #producer #shooting
