My new #ClovaSlipover by @ysolda in KFO Merino & Mohair Pomegranate. Obsessed with this colour! The perfect red!
This was a beautifully simple pattern with really beautiful details, and I’m already planning a second in my head using the bust shaping (I sit on the cusp and decided not to for this one).
For transparency, I think I need to mention that I do work with Ysolda, however I’m not being biased. I had another pattern purchased for this yarn, but made it work for this one once I saw that beautiful shoulder shaping and how simple the pattern is (with better sizing also 👀). I cast this on as soon as I could!
Serotonin cast on!! A sweet little Mae Scarf bandana by @ysolda for my girl Hazel — she’s knit with the colourway Aleks’ Red Squirrel by @lesgarcons.boutique that @aleksbyrd gifted to me. She’s truly going to be a little amalgamation of my work clients! And fun fact, I actually knit the bandana sample of the Mae Scarf, so this will be my second… albeit, much smaller!
Meet Hazel, my friend @whatlisasaid knitted this fantastic squirrel and she needed a pair of specks so onto the bench and she's now the wearer of a pair of sterling silver glasses!
It was definitely fun doing something different and I can now add optician to the CV 😂

got my sewing machine out for the first time in ages today, love all of my crafting bits and bobs. a big hunk of wool felt for a different project, and box full of threads much older than me. crafting materials just make me so happy 😍
little red squirrel tail on the needles. @fromcinthia ’s patterns are my absolute favourite thing to knit and I cannot wait to get this little gal finished as she’s going to become my business mascot! (I’m a virtual assistant for small craft businesses - it only makes sense to have a knitted mascot/assistant!)
My lovely client @aleksbyrd gifted me this yarn colour she made with @lesgarcons.boutique called “Aleks’ Red Squirrel”, when she found out we have a shared love of squirrels and obviously it needed to be made! The tail and ears I held double with some lovely mohair from @woollenflower .
Can’t wait to share her once she’s finished and dressed!

obsessed with how this sock is turning out with yarn from @nervusfibre . it's about to go on hold while I do some sample knitting for a client but oh boy am I excited about these. Though I'm almost tempted to make them a bit more slouchy than my usual basic sock pattern... Which would require some pulling back... What do you think?

new socks drying in the sun. Spring is finally here. 🌞🌷🪻
all ready for the first wear at @woollygoodedinburgh tomorrow! I decided on Sunday that I needed my second sock for my outfit so the stitch markers marked out my progress; Sunday was cuff and leg, Monday was heel and a bit of the foot and on Wednesday night I finished up. Blocked and washed today, Friday.
🧶 Malabrigo sock yarn in Lettuce (037) - a delight to knit with, looking forward to seeing how it wears!
my #lakespullover by @ozetta just has the body left to go, it'll be finished so soon. using the stunning Dark Star colourway that @aleksbyrd designed for @jarbontextiles (it's the perfect deep brown). also got a fun little animal on my needles atm (well, I'm figuring out colours for their clothing now) for a Christmas present which I'll share once it's gifted - it's turned out so great!
this little guy is finally with his intended human, so I can share him! adapted slightly from @fromcinthia 's Bison pattern to make a Highland Cow, he's knit up in a beautiful madder dyed yarn from @isleofskyenaturaldyeco .
I adapted the sweater from a smaller character and the yarn for the clothes is from @lamingtonlass (the minis are perfect for the clothes, used them multiple times now!)
his little face is just the cutest, I'm so happy with how he came out! #fromcinthia #moucheandfriends
