There's currently an art exhibition at @satyam_yoga_cambridge , fundraising for @GazaSoupKitchen and @heart.of.gaza β€οΈ
Alongside pieces by selected artists (including a print of mine), the exhibition is hosting drawings made by children in Gaza during the gen0c1de, shown as part of the touring πHeART of Gazaπ project.
The childrens' art and statements are beautiful, poignant and truly heartbreaking. There are books available that share the background and stories of the young artists as well.
If you'd like to visit, i believe the HeART of Gaza children's artwork will be up until end of December, and the rest of our work will be shown until late January.

'The Truth is a Cave in the Black Mountains'.
It started as a sombre yolky yellow landscape sketch drawn from a train window.

Life lately, by hand, eyes, and pencil.
So pleased to be able to sit outside in the sunshine and draw βοΈ

Did anyone else devote all their waking (and sleeping) hours to drawing as a kid? I couldn't stop, I was bursting with drawings! SPLAT!
(Was anyone else also forced to have their hair in bunches with red bows and a wonky fringe? π
NO JUST ME THEN)
Time to take the decorations down π
Though in my home fairy lights are for life, not just for Christmas!

(Definitely not a little drawing I forgot to post at Christmas about peeking out of the window believing a tonttu elf had scurried past π)
Drew this first and then imagined what it'd look like from outside (2nd/3rd pics that I did remember to post previously).

The image should be flipped horizontally but it looks better this way me thinks!
Season's greetings, and hopefully not sneezons greetings!
Some joulutontut (Christmas elves) on this year's card along with a helpful yet slightly peckish robin β¨π
Stay cosy everyone! π§€π₯X
I know Finnish Christmas elves are real because as a kid I saw one scuttle past the window around Christmas time β¨
It definitely wasn't one of my parents wrangling a broom handle with a hat on the end π
I lost my beloved silly yellow hat before last winter. After repeating the line 'I WANT MY HAT BACK' (obvs) for over a year to no avail and with a cold head, I finally replaced it with a hat that makes my head resemble a big bowl of Smarties.
That is all.
