Last night Arts Forum Selly Oak #number11arts held the latest in their series of free arts cafe events, and this time, we had a drumming workshop facilitated by @iliaslintzos for those in attendance.
There’s been a lot made of the third space concept recently, and for me, these sessions at The Outpost Arts Centre, a project conceived by Jayne Murray @makinglevel encapsulates this. Yesterday we had our doors open for people passing by to escape from the quite frankly bizarre weather we’ve been having. We have introduced locals to a superb range of arts programming, or if they just want to take thee weight off we’ve been ready with the kettle and even have a quick bite to eat, thanks to @lucy_poulson and her work with @incrediblesurplus
Next one will be Thursday 11 June, the last one (for the time being 🤞 before our sharing event in July.) More details tbc!
