Made these photos of Vera for @makewewaka in one of my recent trips to Uyo. It’s always a pleasure visiting Uyo and I almost always mark the trip with a photo shoot there. Uyo holds a very significant part of my heart especially because my photography took roots from there. And Vera has always obliged me with her presence and skill.
In this trip I was also able to reconnect with some of my comrades @anyacansee@jaydee_monami@nana_the_rebel . Amazing people for real for real.
I hope to visit Uyo again soon, this time as a fullstack creative 🫣. Until my next trip enjoy these photos

We had zero plans for this project. I was feeling perhaps one day and called Brea if we could create anything the next day. She obliged and these photos were birthed.

Last year, we took a trip to Uyo, Nigeria and we had the pleasure of creating with an amazing community of creatives there @southplayroom . While our activities @makewewaka have been very minimal lately, we have occasionally had the pleasure of doing what we were originally designed to do ie; travel, create, share.
