I wanted to take a moment to share a little bit about where I’ve been lately.
If you’ve noticed that I’ve been quieter on here or that I’ve had to decline more weddings and bookings than usual this year, it’s not because I don’t absolutely love what I do — it’s because my family needs me right now.
My husband had brain surgery to remove a tumor January 14th but now we are currently facing another health journey that no family wants to hear. And at this moment my focus needs to be on him and making sure he gets the care, support, and attention he deserves. Marriage means showing up in every season — and this is one where I need to be fully present at home. He is still on seizure protocol and unable to drive until June 1st. So I am also responsible for getting him to and from work, to all future appointments and treatments, and to both of our kids practices and games since he coaches both!
This has not been an easy decision, especially when I care so deeply about my brides and clients. Being part of your special moments is something I never take lightly. But I know this is the right choice for this season.
I’m so grateful for the kindness, patience, and understanding so many of you have shown to everyone that has reached out and the respect you have shown me when I had to decline. It means more than you know.
I’m hopeful and prayerful that this is just a chapter — and I truly look forward to getting back to my brides and clients as soon as I’m able. Thank you for continuing to support my small business and my family during this time 🤍
To all my bookings I have already had on the calendar since this happened I still fully plan on being there for you and your MUA.
