The time has come for me to put down my makeup brushes! This is sooner than I’d hoped, but it’s time to listen to my body, rest and patiently wait for our little baby girl to arrive!

I will not be taking any wedding bookings until August 2026 at the earliest. However, if you’re planning your wedding and would like to enquire for late 2026 and 2027 then please do via my website (linked in my bio) - I would love to hear from you! ✨
SPECIAL OCCASION MAKEUP | 2026 Bookings
I will be booking special occasion makeup appointments from 1st June! If you would like to book, then please enquire ASAP. Please note : these appointments will be at my studio in Yateley and are offered ONLY to my existing clients during this time (those who have had their makeup done by me before). My diary will reopen to everyone as soon as I feel comfortable and confident with my new role as a working Mummy.

Thank you so much to my clients over the past eight months who have been so incredibly understanding of the morning sickness alongside all of the other weird and wonderful things pregnancy throws at us - I truly have the best clients and I’ll never forget how some of you looked after me whilst I tried my best to look after you! 💕
I’m really looking forward to Spring/Summer with my baby girl, my hubby and my sausages ☀️
I’ll miss busy days in my studio, but I’ll be back and I hope you will all come back too - don’t forget me! 🥲❤️

I’ve been keeping a teeny tiny little secret 🥹🩷
We’re expecting a baby girl in March 2026 … we’re over the moon to finally be entering our Mummy and Daddy era!
I want to thank my brides and my clients for your patience, kindness and support over the last few months when I’ve not been very well. My pregnancy hasn’t been kind to me at times and I will never forget the way you made me feel and I appreciated it so, so much 🥰
To the makeup artists who stepped in to assistant me when I needed help and for taking over some 2026 bookings - thank you (you know who you are!) 💋
My hubby… oh my god, I don’t know what I would have done without him! My absolute rock!

Maternity leave : I won’t be taking on any 2026 weddings until August. However, I will very much be doing some special occasion makeup appointments from my home studio, so you can still book in for your occasions (appointments will be limited, so grab them while you can!) ✨
Accredited courses will be back in 2027! However, makeup masterclass day’s will still be available to book from August 2026 🪄
My first ever MAKEUP MASTERCLASS 👏
Hosting my very first masterclass was such a proud moment for me! Something that I’d wanted to do for a long time …
Late 2024, I mentioned to my friend that I was thinking about hosting a masterclass (my friend/fellow MUA @lucyworkmanmua1 ) and we decided to join makeup forces and create a masterclass together 💕
Standing in front of a salon full of people, ready to share my passion and extensive knowledge, felt surreal - but I loved it!
I was so excited to teach my favourite tips, tricks, and techniques to everyone who showed up to learn. I really enjoyed watching people get excited, ask questions, and really engage with what I was sharing and it reminded me exactly why I do this…
I wanted to give people confidence, knowledge and help them feel inspired! Introducing them to new ways of makeup application, makeup and skin care products and help them with some new makeup skills (whether that be on themselves or on their clients - the masterclass welcomed everyone).
We had a lovely bunch of ladies attend the makeup masterclass and I wanted to do it all over again!! Watch this space …. 😉✨

I’ve been a makeup artist for years… and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this:
❣️ EVERY MAKEUP ARTIST GROWS AT THEIR OWN PACE ❣️
Some catch on quickly, others take longer to find their rhythm … but speed doesn’t equal success!!
I’ve seen slow starters become the strongest artists because they never gave up. They stayed consistent, stayed curious about makeup, continued to educate themselves and found their unique style and ways of working 👏
If you’re just starting out - don’t rush your journey! Don’t compare it to those who have years under their brush belts (or compare yourself to anyone, for that matter) … just be proud that you started and you’re growing! 💕
Progress isn’t always loud. Sometimes, it’s in the quiet moments - the steady hands, the better blend and your confidence growing day by day.
🎨 You’re not falling behind. You’re becoming!
💄 And trust me - every single makeup artist was once where you are now.

Something so simple…. I’d totally forgotten how to SWITCH OFF.
Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE MY JOB so much!! 🥰💕
My students know from their courses how much I adore being a makeup artist, yet I’m honest with them … sometimes you really do forget to just down tools, down phone, flip the laptop screen down and STOP the noise.
My hubby said “what do you want for your birthday?”
I said, no WIFI and no phone signal … he delivered 👏
I spent my 30 (something 😉) birthday in a location totally off grid. No signal, no WIFI, no TV… just peace and a chance to reset!
It’s soooooo easy to try and be everything to everyone, so easy to think “I’ll respond to that message at 10pm because I want the business (yet, they don’t even reply anyway, ha!), be a part of so many teams and work every weekend because you’re excited at earning money …. until you realise again, you’re a human, you’re not a robot. 🤖
During your training with me, I will teach you how to work SMARTER not harder (the MUA mentoring day will change the way you work!)
For anyone who feels a little burnout, take a break. You work hard, treat yourself because ultimately.. that’s what it’s all about, LIVING.

Spring is here and the sun is OUT! 🌷☀️
It’s my favourite time of year in the studio … I love it in the Spring because it’s surrounded by so much beautiful nature …
On sunshine days, the stable door is open so you can hear the constant bird song, smell the bluebells and wild garlic, the buzzing of the bees in the wisteria and if you’re lucky … a visit from the fox family who come to play in the garden with their cubs 🫶🏼
The kettle is ALWAYS on here!

Remember …. many moons ago I WAS A BEGINNER MAKEUP ARTIST too. I want to share some of my experiences, my mistakes, my tears, my confidence knocks … I could be here all day!!
But, all of those helped me navigate to the makeup artist, the makeup educator and the business owner that I am today 💕
