It’s my 20th Anniversary!!!! It was actually my 20th anniversary the second week of October but life happens. I was far too deep in wedding season to post about it.
What I mean when I say my 20th anniversary….
I’ve been officially doing Makeup as a working makeup artist for 20 years. I do not count the day I started playing with a caboodle kit on the bed with a friend. I am talking about the first day. I started getting paid as an artist to do what I love.
A lot of people can’t say that they’ve spent two decades doing something that they love. I fortunately can.
I am here by choice. I choose this every day and I will choose this every day until I can’t do this job anymore.
As most of you probably know I’m completely obsessed with my job, Makeup Artistry, and making other women feel like the most beautiful version of themselves. There is such a deep meaning in what I do, which is why I continue to do it.
The little moments I cherish. Seeing my clients face light up after I give them the mirror. To have any kind of positive impact on any human being is so powerful. I cherish the big moments too. The crazy wedding days. The busyness and the hustle of this job. It keeps me on my toes and keeps me driven as an artist and as a human. We all need a reason to get up in the morning.
Doing makeup has been completely therapeutic for me. It connects me to so many beautiful, unique, charismatic, strong women. Sharing stories of finding love, experiencing loss & going through life’s hardships. Sharing the stories of our lives is, beautiful. The deep knowing that you’re not the only one on the planet feeling certain emotions and the just being able to have the ability to connect with another person is magical.
Doing makeup has been a creative outlet for me and although it feels repetitive at times. It’s where I’am the most comfortable. I’am in a place that feels right. I’am in the element and environment I love so much that makes me feel whole as a person & artist.

This bride absolutely stole my heart. I met Kelsey back in January for her bridal trial when she flew into Vegas. From the start, her vibe was soft, romantic, natural, and effortless.

I love creating these kinds of videos, but they definitely take a significant amount of time to film and edit. This one, for example, sat in my edits folder for about three weeks. I kept coming back to it, tweaking a few things, then moving on to the next task.
With that said, these reels are so valuable for future brides. You get to see the entire day and glam process unfold, clip by clip. And if there’s one thing I always say. You won’t believe how fast the day goes. I arrive, and it truly feels like a blink before it’s already time for the bride to head to the chapel.
While I still work with a lot of American clients, I’ve definitely seen a shift. My UK client base has grown significantly. Now making up around 60% of my bookings. I’ve always worked with UK brides, but with the rise in elopements and destination weddings in Vegas, we’re seeing more international travelers than ever! And I’m not mad about it. I love serving my UK sweethearts! ❤️
