1️⃣ Prep the skin.
Depending on the skin, I use hydrating mist, primer and/or moisturizer.
2️⃣ First thin layer of foundation.
3️⃣ Setting spray to lock the base.
4️⃣ Second foundation layer.
I combine different foundation textures to build coverage while keeping the skin natural.
5️⃣ Cream contour & concealer.
6️⃣ Setting spray again.
7️⃣ Blending the base.
I lightly mist my brushes with setting spray to blend everything seamlessly.
8️⃣ Powder setting.
I use different powders in specific areas of the face to maintain a smooth, long-lasting finish.
9️⃣ Final thin layer of foundation using a sponge.

If your foundation creases or separates… it’s usually NOT your foundation.

This happens when you use products that don’t work well together (for example: a water-based primer with a silicone-based foundation).
In simple terms → they don’t blend or “sit” properly on top of each other, so the base can break apart or separate during the day.
🔹 Skin imbalance
• Too oily → your foundation melts and breaks down faster
• Too dry → your skin absorbs the product unevenly, causing patchiness
🔹 Poor skin prep
If your skin isn’t properly prepped before makeup, it won’t look smooth no matter what you use.
Good prep = clean, hydrated skin that allows the foundation to sit evenly on top.
🔹 Rushing your routine
If you don’t let your skincare, primer, or setting products settle before applying foundation, everything can mix too quickly and cause the base to lift, pill, or look patchy.
Most “bad foundation” moments are actually just prep + technique issues.
