I wasn’t even planning to post this (yes… onesie, no makeup, all real 😂), but this felt important. Because behind the “perfect hair” we see online, a lot of us are dealing with things we don’t talk about.
I’ve been through it all—tension alopecia, breakage, uneven lengths (one side ear length, the other shoulder 😩), shedding, no growth… or growth that just snapped off. And honestly? It affected everything—my confidence, how I showed up, how I felt in myself.
So I found the solutions, and this was one of the reasons I went into hairdressing, to help all of you with the problems I’ve encountered over years. I studied hair properly—the science, the structure, the why. And over time, my hair transformed. It grew to lengths I hadn’t seen since childhood, my hairline came back stronger than ever, and the shine? From every angle ✨
BUT… my last problem? Heat damage.
Let’s be real—heat damage isn’t just dryness. Excessive heat permanently alters the keratin (protein) structure inside your hair. That’s why curl patterns don’t bounce back, why elasticity is lost, and why some sections stay straight no matter what you use.
And yes… I held onto the length for as long as I could. But this rebrand? It pushed me to fully step into honesty and authenticity. Not masking the damage—but embracing all of me. Including my natural curls 🤍
So we let it go ✂️
