Reflecting on my 1 year and 4 month-run of going back to dance, more so into competing on an international level (which is a dream i already gave up on years ago). Still can’t believe all these happened within two years. From ‘the last dance’ as HQ retired dancers, to National champions, to World champions, then back to defend and still finish on a podium. What we have accomplished is tough af. One hell of a ride indeed. I feel like whatever I try to say to describe this journey would be an understatement.
To the boys, salamat sa opportunity and good vibes. The recent results are not what we were really expecting especially this year that we all know we have prepared better both physically and mentally, but it says so much about our growth as individuals and as a brotherhood. Looking at everything now in a wider perspective, we’ve come so far from our HQ boys days. Our younger versions would be so damn proud from how we disciplined ourselves, to the sacrifices we made, to the big boy decisions we were able to do and some bonus titles we were able to achieve.
