New Workshop starting this Wednesday: 3D Modeling in Onshape for Laser Cutting & CNC!
Learn how to create 3D models of your projects in Onshape: a powerful, free, cloud-based CAD tool that runs entirely in your browser with no software to install. In this 3-hour interactive workshop, you'll learn the core 2D sketch to 3D model workflow, how to quickly iterate your design, and how to extract 2D vectors for laser cutting and CNC routing or export 3D models for 3D printing.
The course also includes a tutorial on two Onshape-specific plugins (Laser Joint and Auto Layout) that automate finger joinery and parts nesting, saving you a great deal of design time. By the end of the class, you'll have modeled a desk organizer ready for the laser cutter, and have the skills to start designing your own projects.
