The Mp3 Experiment is a participatory audio adventure where attendees use a smartphone app to listen to synchronized secret instructions in a public space via headphones. It’s part flash mob, part silent disco, part immersive theatre, and 100% fun.

Since the release of her critically acclaimed debut Stampede, Kandia has graced stages with Cactus Rose NYC including performing at the Brooklyn Americana Music festival, the Another Country festival, the Grand Ole Echo @ SXSW, Make Music New York, Porch Stomp 2025, and beyond.

Make Music New York 2015: Architecture in Harmony 🏛️🎹
2015 was the year we turned the city itself into an instrument! With the debut of the “Concerto for Buildings,” a full orchestra and 24 percussionists used Soho’s historic facades as percussion. We also launched Street Studios, bringing mobile recording booths to sidewalks to turn passersby into producers, and the very first Sousapalooza in Bryant Park!
