What an extraordinary night in His sweet presence with my Make Her Ready SistHers. The candlelight concert honoring Whitney Houston was truly more than music… It was Make Her Connect in its purest form. Beneath the soft glow of candlelight we truly connected as sisters. I am so deeply thankful for this SistHerShip the Most High is building. These women fill my cup until it is running over. The richness they bring into my life cannot be measured in words only felt in the soul. I’m so rich in spirit, soul, and body snd I am deeply grateful. God chose to write them into my story, and I do not take that lightly. They are more valuable than rubies..They are invaluable, rare, and beautiful beyond measure. And perhaps one of the most memorable parts of the night was getting to share this moment with my daughter. To experience beauty, music, and sistHerShip together,..my heart can barely hold it. She is more than my daughter..she is my friend, my best friend. Walking through moments like this with her feels like a quiet gift from LOVE, a reminder of the legacy being built not just in words, but in action and the daily intentional moments and lived experience. This night will forever live in my heart as a reminder that when women gather in truth, love, and beauty, something eternal is formed. And when it’s shared with your daughter, it becomes even more than a moment.. but a force of The Sears Family Legacy. Proverbs 31, that “her husband is known in the gates.” This night stirred something deep in my soul… A knowing... My husband’s name, his calling, his legacy will be known. Every place the sole of our foot treads, God has already given to us. His name will be spoken, honored, and recognized not for our glory, but for God’s. In our home, in our city, and in all the world.

I know it has been ten days since the Make Her Ready and Pearls High Tea, and I have truly been at a loss for words. I have been trying to find the words to share with you all how God moved because there is so much that could be said. His hand was in every detail. His beauty, His love, His peace, and the way He moved throughout the entire day/event planning are almost impossible to fully put into words. If I shared everything, this would easily become hundreds of pages from a book. So this will already be long…but I don’t want to make it longer than it needs to be, because there is simply too much to tell. For now, I want to highlight just two moments…two confirmations that capture the heart of what God did that day. Perhaps later, I’ll go live with the ladies so we can share together all the ways we witnessed God move, hand in hand. On Wednesday, September 3rd, 2026, I was walking out of a restaurant when something across the street immediately caught my attention. Directly opposite was a tea house, and its name stopped me in my tracks: The Prince House. I knew our Rubies and Pearls High Tea was approaching in December, and I had been praying, asking God whether we were to host it again this year and if so, where. When I saw that sign, I sensed His presence immediately. It wasn’t just a name. It felt like a divine highlight. I knew in my spirit the Lord was drawing my attention there. So I walked in. I toured the space. The owner showed me around and gave me pricing. When I left, I said, “Okay God, if this is where You want us to host the tea, I trust You.” And I began to plan. But the very next day, something shifted. I felt unsettled. There was no peace. I said, “God, something feels off. Why did You send me there? Was it really for us to have the tea there, or am I missing something?” Then, about a month later, in October, the Lord spoke clearly. He said, “I didn’t send you there so you would have the tea at The Prince House. I sent you there so you would receive the message.” In that moment, understanding flooded my spirit.

Those who are led by the Spirit are the sons and daughters of LOVE. 💖 Months ago, I sought the Lord for direction on what was next with Make Her Ready. He said, "Oasha, Make Her Connect." I knew what He was saying, so I began to plan a brunch where we can connect in His sweet presence. 🙏✨ Then God wasn't finished; He wanted us not only to connect but also to be who we are in Him, Proverbs 31 women. 💪👩‍❤️‍👩 He led me to connect a cause to our day of connection: The Trajectory to Success. Our Relationship and Rubies Brunch event supported the Trajectory to Success Program, a nonprofit that offers educational sessions on financial literacy, life coaching, etiquette, and higher education, culminating in a fine dining experience with culinary students from Delgado Community College. 🍽️🎓 We kindly ask attendees to bring a formal dress or ball gown from their closet to donate to the Trajectory to Success Program, helping young women experience what success looks like. 👗 ✨ We not only connected; this event initiated us into making a difference by extending our hands to the needy, as stated in Proverbs 31:20: "She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy." 🤲❤️ But God wasn't finished leading and guiding. He told me three months ago to watch The Wizard of Oz and that He had a message He wanted to convey to me and the ladies. He instructed me to purchase Dorothy's red slippers for their keychains and attach an inspirational message with them. 👠💌 So I did, and I watched The Wizard of Oz ten times but could not get the message. A week before the event, I found myself with no message regarding these Dorothy slippers and inspirational motivational keychain charms, having no clue how to put it all together because I didn't have a message. 🤔 Then, a week before the event, I received a call from Elder Betty Ann Gordon with Keys Ministry. We talked for about an hour about the Relationships and Rubies Brunch and all things God. 💬🙏 I began to share my concerns about how God wanted me to give a message to the ladies and how the word was coming from The Wizard of Oz. I shared how for months I had watched the movie over and over and

Our virtuous sister Ashley Marissa shared a profound perspective on overcoming the mindset that others are "copying" you. Instead of viewing their actions as imitation, we should see them as a form of inspiration. Often, it's not about someone stealing your ideas, though that is a topic for another day, but rather about how they’re influenced by your work. I believe this discernment and shift in perspective is crucial. Sometimes, God places us in others' lives to help reveal their own potential. Our actions and presence can inspire and bring out what's already within them, allowing them to express it in their unique way. Many women have inspired me in my journey, and I hope my work has inspired others in return. It’s powerful to recognize how our individual paths contribute to the growth and inspiration of those around us. This interconnectedness highlights the impact we can have on each other, which is truly special. I pray that we see all the beauty in how we #MakeHerInspired so that, together through our inspiration, we can become the Bride of Christ who #MakeHerReady for His return.
