Celebrating an incredible milestone 🎉
This week we marked Martin Smith’s 50th year at Makefast Ltd — a truly remarkable achievement.
Fittingly, this comes just after Makefast celebrated its own 50th anniversary in 2024, making the moment even more special. It was great to have owners and founders Bill and Brenda Brown, alongside Chris Brown (CEO) and Mike Brown, there to celebrate the occasion.
Brenda shared stories from the early days of Makefast, reflecting on Martin’s journey and his invaluable contribution over the decades. From day one to today, Martin has been at the heart of so much of what we do — with an encyclopaedic knowledge of the business and, of course, a legendary love of spreadsheets.
Thank you, Martin, for 50 years of dedication, loyalty, and expertise. An incredible milestone and an even greater legacy.
