Thirteen years of love, held in ink. Thank you for writing yourselves into this place.
Page after page, your words. Your memories, your gratitude, your handwriting. This register is the truest record of what MAKE was; not ours to keep, but yours all along.
We didn’t know what to expect. What arrived were the people who made this place what it was …. some familiar, some returning, some ‘grown’, all of them somehow a part of the story.
Thank you for joining WAKE MAKE. For giving the last hours of this journey the weight it deserved. For showing up, in every sense of the word.
Thirteen years. Not a small thing to hold. We’re still holding it, together.
So much love!❤️
Thank you x (infinity)! 🙏
Memories …. memories ….
Moments….. moments ….
Thank you all for sharing your moments with MAKE and being a part of MAKE memories.
We are setting out a notebook until/on March 31st.
Write your name. Leave a line. Say whatever you need to say to this place or to people who kept it going for 13 years.
We will call it THE REGISTER - one last one.
Swing by to add your name ❤️.
WAKE MAKE private gathering. We’re holding a small, private gathering to close this chapter with those who’ve been closest to the journey. DM us if you’d like to be considered for an invitation.
March 31st. The last day.
The doors are open one last time on March 31st.
Swing by as the space comes apart – slowly, honestly. Photograph the sign, the map, the corners you know. Take home a cup, a chair, a fragment of something that mattered. We’ll be posting what’s available throughout the days this week at the link in bio.
(DM us to reserve something ahead of time)
Thirteen years. One last day together.

Last shipment from Fernwood arrived!
Shout out to Fernwood! @fernwoodcoffee
Thank you for being MAKE’s anchor taste! for 13 years.
I still remember you (Ben @ Fernwood) walking through the doors with two carry-on bags full of coffee beans!
(2013 Flashback)
Jae: Can we sample your beans for our new coffeeshop? Ben: Yes. Why don’t I come down next week! Jae: Did I not call Fernwood in Victoria BC? I am calling from Winnipeg. Ben: Yep. I will come next week. -Next week- Ben walks in with two carry-on bags filled with beans. Heather (renown/retired WPG Landscape Architect @htfcwpg ) is walking in with him. Jae: Heather. What are you doing here? Heather: He is my son.
Jae: What!!! Ben: Yeah I grew up here on Corydon.
That’s how our relationship started with Fernwood and 1936 Espresso!
MAKE is saying goodbye. After 13 years, we will be closing our doors on March 31st.
Between now and then, please drop by to say bye. We would love to see you one last time.
And for those of you with gift card credits still remaining: now is the time to use them. Every last sip counts.
Thank you for 13 years of community.
More to come ...
