Here’s a shopping list in case you fancy having a go:
• Approx 1kg casting material-I used 900ml Jesmonite® AC100 for this particular one
• Balloon-try to get helium strength as the walls are thicker and less likely to pop
• Old bottle-dry and clean
• Sharp blade to cut out the hole -I used an exacto knife. Find something to draw around
• Sand paper in various grits, from rough to very fine
• Wax sealer for the outside-I used my Seal.Protect.Enhance wax-available from my Etsy shop via the link in bio
• Polyurethane gloss sealer-Vallejo is the brand from Amazon. I used 3 coats, drying for 1 hour between coats, and 24 hours for full drying

Another pouring technique using Jesmonite® AC100 pigmented in Duck Egg, marbled with Coade pigment, using an Ikea cork coaster. I’ve embedded some sea ceramics in there too.
Finished off in epoxy resin for a beautiful shine.

Jesmonite® pigmented with Jesmonite® branded pigments. This mix is mostly leftover material from other projects. It needs a little something else I think. Maybe a couple more brights to lift it 🧐 #jesmonite
