Dansedybet is performing tonight and tomorrow at 8:00 PM in Nørrebro at @cphoperafestivalDansedybet has already received great feedback from audiences, and makes passersby stop and get carried away by the vibrant dance community unfolding under the yellow roof in Nørrebro. ️The chain dance is the oldest Nordic dance, once used to mark the transition from one phase to another. 🎻 Chain dance is the oldest Nordic dance. It was originally used to mark transitions - such as death, birth, and the changing of seasons. Chain dance was inclusive, simple, and also served to integrate newcomers into the community. Dansedybet transforms the streets of Nørrebro into an interactive, contemporary chain dance ritual with newly composed folk songs.
