All kidding aside, I still love guitar amps, but the truth is, when you’re flying or traveling, they just take up too much space, make too much noise on smaller stages and if you’re backlining them, the tone is inconsistent. This is definitely the most surprising microphone I’ve ever come across. I can’t speak of it any higher. @neumann.berlin and @sennheiser knocked this out of the park. When micing drums on stage, the choice of microphone is super important. It’s a balance between robustness, fidelity and consistency. That’s why I use these mics. Also, as silly as this post is those @earthworksaudio SR25s are really fantastic. The @shure beta57 is still my current go to snare mic as well.
