To direct “300 Feet Tall” was one of the greatest joys of my life. Was it hard? Sure. Were we thrown into a surprise blizzard? You bet. Did we make it through as a family? Hell yeah. I wrote the first draft of the full-length script back in 2020 and recorded the first voice memo of the title track in 2017. I’m pretty sure some people thought I was delusional, but I knew I’d make it happen. It felt so far away for so long and then all of the sudden it became this tangible thing I can hold onto. Believe in yourself. If I can do it, so can you. Thank you to the “300 Feet Tall” team for believing in the project and my ability to steer the ship. We created something truly extraordinary (with production value only Mother Nature could provide). To @drewmoerlein , who’s been there since the very beginning…I’ve appreciated your dedication throughout this entire process. It’s way better than doing it alone (which you know is my go-to). Thanks for helping me loosen my grip. And to @sonjakohara , you’ve always supported my art (as an actress, a singer-songwriter, and now, as a director).
