My heart is full and I can finally take a beat because Dinner at Dusk Polo Classic is officially buttoned up. 🤍 I’m truly grateful to each and every person that showed up and supported this year—at any level. Pulling off an event in Atlanta is no small feat… there’s always something happening on the same day. But I’m a firm believer that the people who were supposed to be there, were there—and together we created something truly special. This year, we were intentional. We showed up not just for a good time, but for a greater purpose—raising funds for our scholars, supporting our adopted school, and establishing a new scholarship for the Class of 2026. Our goal was $20,000… and we exceeded it. 🙌🏾 A special thank you to two of our incredible honorees, @delphinebryant and @eddybenoit , for each contributing $5,000 and helping us push the mission forward in a major way. The wrap up… I gave it to God this year. I asked Him to align the right people to help me help others—and He did just that. Because when resources meet funding, real impact happens. Thanks @iammichellefalconer for rallying the crowd. And we’re just getting started. ✨ #DinnerAtDusk #PowerOfOne #PartyWithAPurpose 📷 @firegroupatl

Nothing but praise reports all around today, but this text from Gabby was such a reminder that my steps have always been ordered. Nothing that happens is a mistake. It may not feel like it in the moment, but every storm eventually runs out of rain and there’s a beautiful rainbow waiting on the other side. 🌈 I thank my younger self for so many things, but choosing education as the vehicle to change the trajectory of my life was truly defining. So my heart is full knowing that betting on Gabby was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. She’s heading into a summer fellowship and research program and just wrapped up her junior year with all A’s and one B. I’m beyond proud of this young lady. Supporting young people that want something more for themselves will forever be one of the most rewarding things I’ll ever do. ❤️ #PowerofOne @woahhiitsgabba

Devin’s speech just about took me out. It was such a powerful reminder that we never truly know the weight someone is carrying. She’s the baby of the family, and to know how much grief and loss she has had to walk through, yet still choose to live her life on purpose not only for her own dreams, but for the dreams of her sister who is no longer with us , truly touched my heart. I’m so thankful I was able to spend so much time with Ryan over the years. Less than eight weeks before she passed, we took a last-minute trip to my hometown to enjoy the World’s Most Beautiful Beaches. It was my treat for the “girls” that were experiencing a non traditional college year and it turned into the most magical weekend. Ryan gave me no pushback on the poses, the photos, or any of my shenanigans. They all meshed so beautifully, and she sent me the sweetest message after they made it home. That was my last memory with Ryan. To see Devin navigate all that comes with loss and still grow, shine, and walk boldly into her purpose truly makes my heart smile. Wishing Devin nothing but the best as she heads to Howard University to make her mark. And once again, I’m reminded that God’s grace is sufficient. 🤍

Student Housing Investment Opportunity 🚨 Parents… I know getting told there’s no on-campus housing available sophomore year can feel stressful, especially when many off-campus apartments require parents to make 5-7x the rent just to qualify. But what if this is actually an opportunity and blessing in disguise? Instead of paying inflated student housing costs with no return, imagine purchasing a home with 20% down and renting the additional rooms to other students. With single rooms renting for around $975/month and doubles around $850/month per student, a property could potentially generate $3K-$5K per month in income depending on the setup. Now instead of simply helping your student survive college, you’re building generational wealth in real time through equity, appreciation, cash flow, and potential tax advantages. The wrap up… what if the home itself becomes the graduation gift? ✨ If you’d like to book a strategy session and position your family for Fall move-in. ☎️ 404-382-8440

Meet our scholar @woahhiitsgabba Today, she’s wrapping up finals, and will be headed to Baltimore for a summer research opportunity, and participating in an AI Fellowship program. And it reminds me exactly why this work matters. #GoGabby If she hadn’t been in that pool of applicants for #ryanfalconerscholarship our paths would’ve never crossed. Because of the generosity of everyone who gave during our live raise at this year’s Dinner at Dusk Polo Classic, we’re able to renew Gabby’s scholarship and award another scholarship to a graduating senior attending an HBCU for the Class of 2026. Instead of creating another separate process, I’m selecting from a larger pool of already-qualified applicants through Michelle’s Foundation because our missions are aligned and through collaboration I feel impact is maximized. In my day to day work I see how things take longer through redundancy and that’s not my ministry. There’s more than one way to make a difference. My goal has never been optics. My goal is access. I simply don’t want this next generation missing opportunities because of money. The wrap up… sometimes impact looks like building from scratch and sometimes it looks like the Power on One. Michelle was Gabby’s, Power of One. That’s one introduction. And I know that she will be that change maker for her generation to show them, that together we can get there faster.

The wait is over… and this one means a little more. 🤍✨ We are officially opening our first scholarship application for the Class of 2026, exclusively for APS students attending Carver Early College. Because of the generosity in the room during our live scholarship raise—led by Michelle Falconer—we are proud to announce that we are able to offer an additional $2,500 scholarship. Even more powerful… This year, we raised enough to cover our scholar’s senior year stipend—a full circle moment that speaks directly to the impact of this community. ✨ Who can apply: • Graduating seniors of Carver Early College • Minimum 2.75 GPA • Must be attending an HBCU in Fall 2026 ✨ What you need to submit: • Name, email, and contact number • Social media handle • A video submission (follow instructions on the application) 🎓 Presented by Dinner at Dusk – Power of One, powered by Keys in Hand Project 📅 Application Deadline: May 13, 2026 🌐 Apply at: thedinneratdusk.com And next week… we will be announcing our $16,000 in scholarships for the Class of 2026. The wrap up… We are all blessed to be a blessing—and I hope this encourages each of us to simply do our part. Because when we do, lives are changed in ways we may never fully see. Please tag and share to a student attending Carver Early College. Applications close next week. #PowerofOne #DinnerAtDusk #ScholarshipSeason #HBCUBound

Happy May 1! Just know the best things in life come to those that go after them and every single thing in life happens for a reason. You may not understand it in the moment but I’ve yet to look back on anything and not said, “that’s why that happened!” The wrap up… Remember, you’re rare not regular. Don’t ever forget that. 🫶🏾
