I wrote this a while ago and it’s definitely a good representation of my year, so I thought that I would share it 🥰
If I were Superman my kryptonite would definitely be change
Whether it’s for the better or change that might be difficult to accept, it has often been something that I’ve struggled with
As I’m currently tackling a new huge change in my life it comes with fear and self doubt. But for the first time in my life, my hustle outweighed most of those negative thoughts, and I have never felt more empowered.
One of my favorite phrases is “You wanna make God laugh, tell him your plans”, and throughout the last year I know he’s been getting a kick out of me 😂
Learning how to pivot has been one of the greatest lessons that I’ve learned as an artist, and has truly become my superpower. Change is like looking in a mirror that reminds you who you are and what you are capable of.
So to my fellow artists, when change happens, just pivot on 7, 8, and begin a new chapter on 1.
