Good morning. I am very happy to share my new book, WOMEN HOLDING THINGS. Out today!
A love song to women. And sometimes everyone. (As exhausted as we all are from holding everything.)
It was born from a little booklet made during the pandemic. And then expanded upon. With 86 paintings. Ruminations. And digressions of course.
Purchase from your local bookstore. Nothing better. Signed copies available at Three Lives & Co in Greenwich Village.
Available online as well.

Literature is a salvation. Our lives depend on it. I spent a year reading French poets with my poetry group. Of all the poets, Mallarmé had the most appeal as a person. As for poetry itself, bring on the madness.
Stéphane Mallarmé with Shawl on the cover of The New Yorker. Nice! TGIF

Dear All
A new watch from M&Co.
On any given day, if you take a walk, after a while, you will discover a most pleasant sensation. Your brain will be empty. In the best possible way. You will stop thinking and just be. You might be wearing a watch.
In the tree, a little bird is singing “don’t think too much. Don’t think too much.” You could lose all sense of time. You might mumble, “I don’t have to worry. I have all the time in the world.”
