Throw back to my first trip to meet the whales in the Arctic. Going with an experienced group of people made such a difference to understand the whales' behaviors and learn how to adujst and keep a gentle approach. When I see a whale, I only see a whale in the water. When experts are able to interpret behaviors, it helps to assess how close we can be. Being able to see if they are curious, playful or protective of their calves helps keeping the right distance. Trying to respect their will as much as possible makes the interactions much more valuable and interesting. 🙏

Throw back to a short trip on board of @karlgaas 's sailing boat ⛵
We sailed along Kaldfjord until we reached the open sea. We fished some cod, and Karl prepared a tasty soup with what we caught. It is always inspiring to meet locals who live out of their passion. Can't wait to sail again! Thanks Karl for the trip 🙏

CHANGE 🍃
Changing place, moving away, starting something new have always been something scary, but every time I do it, the outcomes are always positive. Refocusing on myself, on my goals, what do I want to be and where. It comes with challenges and questionnings. Letting go of old habits and getting out of your confort zone to work on a fresh version of yourself. Tromsø called for a work opportunity, but I did not really choose Tromsø. My expectation were quite low, actually, I barely had any. During my first month here, I enjoyed SO MUCH being alone and unknown in this new environment. It felt like I could finally slow down, transition to a new chapter of my life and open myself to opportunities and connections. It felt like things slowly aligned. I believe intuition is key when taking big decisions and bringing change to our lives. Is this a skill we develop overtime? I don't have an answer, but I'm learning to follow it with trust 🌝
Whale alert 🐳
It will soon be 7 months since I left Sunnmøre for the Arctic! Time is FLYING 🤯 So many new things happened but very little time to share them. Life is gonna slow down now so I will take the time to share more things here, trying to be more consistent lol 💃My hard drive is full of pictures and footage, I might as well just share them somewhere, right? Please give me the motivation to publish them out there!! 🫠
Before spaming you with Arctic content, I wanted to share one of my last nights in Sunnmøre, which was absolutely magical. This was a beautiful way to say goodbye to the place and to the people I cherish there. Look at those pilot whales who showed up by surprise 🥺 Little did I know that 2 months later some whale gurus would drag me in some similar adventures... 🤫
Special thanks to @hustadnes_fjordhytter for making this moment so special 🙏
