So many creatives grow up thinking they’re “too much,”
when in reality they’re just wired to feel and experience life deeply.
Creation becomes the place where all of that finally has somewhere to go.
Art saves you and in return, you save art.
I was reading about Occam’s Razor: The idea that the simplest explanation is usually the right one and I realized we don’t always apply that logic to ourselves.
We assume we are not making progress because we must be “missing” some secret. We keep looking for new “strategies” when in reality we just need to give the simple one enough time to work.
We think we are busy but most of us are just over-stimulated.
I feel if you’ve spent time with your own thoughts it’s not wasted time, if it helps you remember who you are.
