The popular Yorkshire Card Show is back in our Big Hall at the end of this month with a TWO day event!
Featuring vendors that will be supplying the likes of Soccer, Pokémon, Baseball, NFL, NHL, Basketball, Magic The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh cards plus many more- this event is the perfect gathering for all card collectors across our region.
And now Magna’s Tram Train station is open and in action, why not ditch the car and choose a more sustainable way to travel? 🚋

If you visited us within the last year, did you know every full priced general admission ticket entitles you to a FREE annual pass? 🎟️
That’s right, that means you have free access to our visitor attraction for one whole year from purchase. And with warmer days on the horizon, that means Aqua-Tek as well. 👀🚿
Don’t worry if you forgot to claim your pass during your last visit, simply turn up on the day you’d like to visit with your original ticket barcode. Our friendly team will do the rest. 🧡

We believe a great day out at Magna should be for everyone. Therefore, following the success of last year, we're so pleased to announced that our SEND Splash Sessions are back for 2026! 💦
Aqua-Tek is always a brilliant experience, but we know that a calmer, quieter environment can make a real difference for some guests. That's why we're once again offering dedicated SEND sessions with managed capacity, giving you the space to splash and play at your own pace.
Open to anyone with access requirements (including but not limited to physical, sensory, cognitive, or communication needs), these sessions are perfect for children, young people, and families who'd love a more relaxed visit to our popular water play zone. Personal assistants, support workers, and family members are absolutely welcome too. 🧡
📆 This year we have 8 sessions available between May and September, all running 10:30am to 12:30pm:
May: Sunday 31st
June: Friday 12th, Saturday 13th, Monday 22nd
July: Saturday 18th
August: Sunday 2nd, Saturday 15th
September: Sunday 6th
Numbers are capped to provide a calm, inclusive environment, so we'd recommend booking your spot in advance! You'll also need a standard admission ticket or Annual Pass alongside your SEND Splash Session booking. 🎟️

Home Educators Day is back for 2026! 💡
On 24th September 2026, join us for an EXCLUSIVE day for home educators featuring hands-on activities, interactive exhibits, and demonstrations designed to align with the national curriculum. This year, the theme is Energy, so get ready for plenty of crazy experiments that will well and truly ⚡️spark⚡️ your imagination.
Home Educators Day is a fantastic opportunity for independent learners to visit Magna. On this day, we will not take any school bookings, and all our staff onsite will be dedicated to engaging with home-educating families.
Our additional shows and activities (included in the price) will be aimed at children aged 4–16. But hurry! Our shows on the last Home Educators Day SOLD OUT, so reserve your seats before time runs out. 🏃♂️

Last week, team Magna had the pleasure of attending the @prideofyorkshiretrail preview event at Utilita Arena. 🦁
It was incredible to see the full pride of 150 lions stood together, before they make their individual journeys across South Yorkshire to mark the beginning of the trail. 🔍
Initiatives like this really demonstrate the passion and talent within our local community. @sheffieldchildrens play a vital role in keeping children and young adults happy and healthy across our region, and it was great to hear updates on all of their hard work.
