Spent the morning at the range getting some swings in and warming up with my nephew before his competition today. Itās been awesome watching him level up his gameāheās definitely keeping me on my toes these days!

I joined The Magic Circle many, many years ago as a graduate of the Young Magiciansā Club. But life happens, and for quite some time, I stepped away from HQ.
At the start of this year, I had a talk with myself: "Nick, go back. Let the past be the past." With a little nudge from some incredible friends, I finally walked back through those doors. Honestly? Itās the best decision Iāve made in years. Not only has it reignited my passion for the craft, but Iāve reconnected with old friends and started making plenty of new ones.
Yesterday was a big milestone: I performed for the public tour groupsāmy first time performing in this building since 2014āand hosted the Friday Night Close-Up show. Watching my friends absolutely smash their sets was the icing on the cake.

Finally, the sun is out, and I've decided to take up golf - a classic 30-something hobby! ā³ļø I haven't swung a club since I was 8, but with my nephew, brother-in-law, and dad hitting the links every weekend, I wanted in on the action. Luckily, there's a driving range nearby, and I finally got my new clubs for my birthday last year.
Itās really great playing again, a few lesson I recon Iāll be back to it.
