The identity begins with the face of Agam
@agamtheband , drawing from the visual language of Theyyam.
In its original form, Theyyam carries layered detailing, colour variation and intricate visual depth. The illustration was simplified into a bold, minimal icon by reducing form, colour and complexity.
With the symbol as the primary visual anchor, the typography was kept thin and minimal to maintain hierarchy and balance.
The symbol and wordmark were then integrated into a unified mark. A strong red, black and white palette enhances recognition - even from a distance, as a white wordmark set within a red circle.
This builds strong recall across scales, backgrounds and applications, including merchandise.
