next month marks TEN (!!!) years of having this little cozy corner of the internet.
I know a many of you have been here since the beginning, and even more have joined over the years. I’m grateful for this little group + every stage, evolution, and era this page has seen across the last decade.
as we head into this next chapter, I just wanted to reintroduce myself. where I’ve been, where I am, and I’m excited for us all to experience what’s next together 🩵
To my babies - the most important thing I will ever be in this world is your mom. There are no titles, no accolades, no letters after my name that will ever carry more value than getting to be your mom. In every universe, it is you. Growing with you and watching you grow is the most remarkable feeling. Thank you for showing me a strength and a love that I never knew possible. To my Riley, thank you for sending Theodore. I miss you and think of you every single day. 🩵
To my mom - you are the picture of strength, resilience, and grace. What a blessing it is to share my motherhood with you and have your guidance. Thanks for always answering my insane amount of daily FaceTimes and for loving my kids the way you do.
To all of the moms, in every walk of motherhood - may today bring you peace, warmth, and love. For the moms who came before me, answer unhinged texts at 3am, who make motherhood beautiful - thank you. For those who find today challenging, no matter the reason, I see you, and am sending you love and hugs.

in this house? we are kind and strong, gentle yet sturdy, different and proud. we lead with love, stay curious and accepting, respect our own boundaries and others’, and quick to learn but slow to judge.
even though that’s what we teach, how we speak and act, it’s always great to have our stories reinforce these ideas!

Nothing beats the winter blues like a studio maternity session! It might be gross and wet and freezing outside, but not in here.
I loved meeting Maya and her sweet little family, and I can’t wait to meet their new baby boy in the coming weeks.

I do not believe in resolutions, nor that the changing of a calendar will wipe the slate clean.
What I know is that last year taught me that grief, joy, love, hope, and pain can coexist. With lots of work, that has gotten easier to digest, and I’ve learned to hold space for the feelings they bring. The challenges we faced to this point have forever changed us - as individuals, a couple, parents, friends, and relatives.
What I will cling to and pray for in the year ahead is continued grace, stability, and that hope, love, and joy prevail above all.
I can genuinely say that I am looking forward to this year. Bringing in new life (next month!! hello?), living authentically for ourselves and our family, being better armed for trials and tribulations, and celebrating the lessons learned as well as the loved ones here on earth and in heaven.
Truly, wishing everyone exactly what you need this year for growth, prosperity, and happiness🥂
